Mohamed Mehdi Chehimi

Mohamed M. Chehimi is Senior Research Director at French CNRS. He received a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from Université Paris 7 in 1988. His primary research fields are surface chemistry and XPS surface analysis of reactive and functional materials. Particularly, he is interested in developing diazonium salts as coupling agents in materials science, designing reactive and functional nanocomposites. He recently started a new research program on biochar-based materials production and applications in water and tropical disease treatments. He has 380+ research papers, 25+ book chapters and 3 patents to his credit, and edited five books and seven themed issues. Mohamed Chehimi is ranked 72719th in Stanford University World's Top 2% Scientists 2022.

 

 

Najla Fourati

Dr. Najla Fourati received her PhD in Materials Science from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Cnam-Paris) in 1999 and Habilitation to supervise research from Paris-Orsay University in 2021. She is Assistant Professor at Cnam Paris since 2008 and co-Head of the Cnam-SATIE-SIAME group. Her research deals with electrochemical and surface acoustic wave sensors for real-time monitoring of cancer biomarkers, neurotransmitters, and environmental pollutants such as heavy metal ions, antibiotics, pesticides, and emergent pharmaceutical contaminants. She is a co-author of 50 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, 35 papers in proceedings of international conferences, 5 book chapters, and 3 journal special issues.

 

Julien Vieillard

Dr Julien Vieillard obtained his PhD in microelectronic engineering at Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 2006. Then he was recruited as an assistant professor in analytical chemistry at Université de Rouen Normandie. His research concerns the design of analytical tools to detect, capture and quantify environmental and biological molecules. He co-authored 60 articles, and 1 book chapter; his H-index is 21.
